Ghost, who is expected to mature at 16hh, is by the Apollon son Adonis af Asgard, out of an extremely successful and highly graded Knabstrupper mare, Sally Norholm.

With Ghost we have managed to secure the result of one of the most illustrious and successful combinations of Knabstrupper bloodlines. His sire Adonis af Asgard has produced many great competition horses, as well as four approved stallions (2 of which are full brothers to Ghost) - Alexander af Asgard, full brother to Ghost, Aurel Wendandi, performance tested premium stallion and full brother to Ghost, as well as Witchmaster, and Atlantis in the USA

Ghost possesses the very correct conformation and elastic, elevated and powerful paces that help his full brothers win in the Dressage arena, as well as the perfectly amenable, friendly and curious temperament we wanted in our first Knabstrupper stallion prospect.

In September 2007, we were thrilled when as a 2 and a half year old he was presented to the German graders at the first UK ECHA grading and achieved highly favourable scores and comments, and was graded into their stallion book 1.

Ghost is a fewspot, so he is homozygous for the gene that gives the spotted pattern, and all his foals, even those out of solid mares, should be spotted in some way.

He will be available at stud to a limited number of mares during his first year at stud in 2008. Depending on our time constraints he may be available by AI this year, website will be updated nearer the time...
