HADLOW RIDING CLUB - Sunday 10 May - THE BLUE CHIP CHALLENGE DAY

back
HADLOW RIDING CLUB - Sunday 10 May - THE BLUE CHIP CHALLENGE DAYKindly sponsored by Blue Chip, Hadlow Riding Club held their inaugural Challenge day which was a low key competition where competitors were asked to ride a dressage test, jump a small course of jumps and then tackle an obstacle course, this was all run as an informal event and for members only.

This was a great fun day out on your horse and the weather and location was perfect.

Obstacles that had to be tackled by our members were bridges, balloons, traffic lights and flags, putting all of our members and their mounts to the test. Some of them just took each obstacle in their stride whilst others had to be convinced that there were in fact no scary monsters about to jump out.

If you would like to see more of what this event is about, take a look at our photos on our website www.hadlowridingclub.co.uk to see how much fun our members had!

Sashes and rosettes were given to the winners.

The next Challenge day will be held on Sunday 16 September and for further information on this event and all other schedules and entry forms for shows and clinics please visit the Hadlow Riding Club
website, www.hadlowridingclub.co.uk, where a complete programme of events,
the latest news from the Club and membership forms can be found.

We would like to say a special thank you to Julie Williams of Little Mill stables for providing such a wonderful venue and for Annette Coleman and her helpers for building and stewarding the obstacles.
